Recently, the new liquid polysaccharide gel water blocking agent independently developed by Northwest Oilfield was applied in well TH12133 of Tahe Oilfield, the water cut was reduced from 97% to 41%, and the daily oil production increased significantly.
Northwest Oilfield has successfully developed a new type of liquid polysaccharide gel water blocking agent in view of the aggravation of formation water flooding contradiction, difficulty of stable production and restriction of oil and gas production in Tahe Oilfield. The plugging agent has the advantages of fast adhesive formation, high adhesive strength and strong stability at high temperature, and can effectively plug the formation outlet channel to meet the demand of oil reservoir water plugging and oil increasing at high temperature of 150 degrees Celsius. After conducting the pilot test of the new plugging agent in well TH12133, the production increase is obvious.
